Manufactured in 1923, one of 2,370 pistols manufactured that years as detailed on page 49 of Fred Datig's "The Swiss Variations: 1897-1947". Features fixed blade front and notch rear sights, "cross/M" proofed extension, blank chamber, "cross" proofs on the extension, barrel, breech block, and frame. "GELADEN" marked extractor and lower safety position correctly polished bright. With matching serial numbers on the frame and barrel, with matching "005" partial serial number on the extension and "05" partials on other small components including the grip safety, breech block, and interior of both grips.
Condition: Excellent, retaining 98% plus original blue finish and straw colors with limited minor edge wear, scuffs, limited thinning and spotting, and otherwise limited handling marks. The grips are excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. An overall excellent representative specimen of a Swiss made Model 1906 Luger pistol.
