Chambered in the venerable 700 JDJ, which was created by renowned American gun designer and gunsmith J. D. Jones by shortening and necking up a .50 BMG case resulting in a truly massive cartridge capable of delivering an incredible amount of on target energy. Jones acquired a speial exemption for this cartridge from the ATF, thus keeping it from needing to be registered as a Destructive Device. Jones has invented many cartridges over the years and helped to push the industry forward as a whole, most famously with his creation of the Whisper family of cartridges, which are the basis of the .300 Blackout cartridge in use by American Special Forces, as well as his invention of the .950 JDJ, the most powerful sporting cartridge ever created. The left side of the barrel is marked "Gun Number One" beside the caliber marking. With the rifle are a set of loading dies, 24 Woodleigh Premium 1,000 gr Weldcore RN SN bullets, 4 pieces of brass, 14 bullets which appear to be mono-metal construction, and a SKS hard case.
Condition: Very fine, original finish with minor handling evidence and some minor spotting. Mechanically excellent. Do not pass up this opportunity to own one of these highly sought after massive rifles, one could search for a long time to find another!
