Building on the success and market acclaim of the Super Sport, Korth proudly introduced the Super Sport ALX, an even lighter and more versatile version of its renowned counterpart. Weighing in at just 2.91 lbs, the Super Sport ALX was 12 ounces lighter than the Super Sport STX, making it a perfect choice for competitive shooters who demanded precision, performance, and reduced weight without sacrificing any of the renowned features of the Super Sport. The ALX shared the same world-class firing mechanism as the STX, incorporating Korth's signature roller bearing trigger system and fully machined components throughout for exceptional performance and reliability. Weight savings were achieved through the use of a lightweight aluminum barrel shroud, anodized in an eye-catching blue finish that gave the ALX a distinctive and bold appearance. The grips were lightened by incorporating laminated wood with internal lightening cuts, further enhancing the revolver’s balance and comfort. The Hal Swigget Grip Profile ensured that this revolver not only performed beautifully but also felt great in hand. Like its predecessor, the Super Sport ALX featured a front sight that could be pre-set to four different heights, allowing shooters to quickly adjust for varying distances, a crucial advantage in competitive environments. The Lothar Walther cold-forged barrel with polygonal rifling ensured ultimate accuracy and performance. Additionally, the ALX offered the option to quickly and easily swap between the standard .357 Magnum/.38 Special cylinder and a 9mm cylinder—without any tools—further enhancing the revolver’s versatility for a variety of shooting disciplines.
