Manufactured by Willys from 1949-1952, the M38, also referred to as the MC, was next in line after the MB. The M38 is the military version of the civilian model Jeep CJ-3A, and differed in having a reinforced frame and suspension, waterproof 24-volt electrical system, sealed vent system for the engine, transmission, transfer case, fuel and brake systems. Power is supplied by a Willys 134 cubic inch straight 4-cylinder engine outputting 60 hp, with 4x4 capability. Features a U.S. Army type paint scheme.
Condition: Fine, retains most of its green painted finish with some light flaking, a few dents visible on the front of the front fenders, some areas of minor corrosion, and some age related flaking on the seats. The tires are also fine. Mechanically runs fine.
