Introduced to the market in 1976 the HK PSP, Polizei-Selbstlade-Pistole or Police Self Loading Pistol, became an instant favorite for police departments across Europe. This example is one of the first production examples after the 478 test trial pistols. Fitted with three white dot sighting system on the slide marked on the left with the HK address and on the right with the three digit serial number and government "BWB/415" proof on the right side. The frame is also marked on the right with the serial number and government proof as well as an import mark at the magazine well. Fitted with a set of textured grips marked "HK PSP" on the left panel. Includes original box containing an extra magazine, original test target and cleaning rod.
Condition: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks, a small spot of discoloration on the right side of the frame, and crisp grip texturing. Mechanically excellent. Box is excellent. This would fill that absent space in any German handgun collection!
