Manufactured c.1914-1938. Designed by Friedrich Pfannl of Austria, the Kolibri and its cartridge, the 2.7mm Kolibri, are credited as the smallest centerfire pistol and centerfire cartridge to see production, with the pistol easily fitting in the palm and measuring less than 3 inches long. Manufactured with a notched groove sight on top of the slide, with a "FEU" and "SUR" marked safety switch on the right side of the frame, "crown/crown/U" proof and smooth pearl grips. Included with the pistol is a green leatherette case with "Kolibri" marked inside the lid and a French-cut green velvet interior with space for the pistol and an included small box that holds thirteen rounds of 2.7mm ammunition.
Condition: Excellent, with 90% plus original nickel finish, showing a patch of flaking on the left side and minor handling marks overall. The grips are excellent. The safety switch is a bit loose, otherwise mechanically functions fine. The case shows mild wear and tear.
