Manufactured using a new-made receiver and some military surplus components, this is a fine representative example of the signature weapons of World War II as seen on all European fronts as well as multiple conflicts of the Cold War era. Blade front and two leaf rear sights, with German proofs on some components, the DLO address on the underside of the receiver tube, "fxo/41" socket, brown Bakelite side panels, and an under-folding steel stock. Included with the item are eight extra magazines, two loading tools, three reproduction manuals (two in German, one translated into English), and the book "The MP40 Submachine Gun" by Mike Ingram.
Condition: Fair as re-manufactured, some fading of the markings on the surplus components, and handling marks. The side panels are fine, with scuffs and dings visible. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479.
