Approximately 26,000 manufactured c. 1859-1874. Marked "C. SHARPS & CO./PHILADA.PA." on the right side of the frame and "C. SHARPS" over a partially faded patent date on the left side of the frame.
Condition
Fair overall with a mixed gray/brown patina on the barrels, scattered pitting, and moderate wear. Mechanically needs work: the hammer does not lock at the half or full cock position, and the barrel is not retained in the open position.
