This is a rare picture box of .38 Long Colt cartridges, manufactured by Winchester Repeating Arms Co., one of the biggest cartridge manufacturers in the business at the time. The Box is made of card stock, and has green labeling with black text. There is imagery of Colt's Model 1877 Lightning double action revolver on the lids and explain that the cartridges are specially adapted for the revolver. The box retains its factory seal.
Condition: The box is very fine with intact factory seal and very light handling/storage wear. This box would be the perfect addition to a Colt Model 1877 revolver display!
